This is a Kenwood TK-790 radio with the KCH-11 control head.  These are 45W VHF (2m-capable) radios  capable of 1200 baud AFSK and 9600 baud FSK packet modes.

These radios are sold AS-IS. There is no warranty of any kind.

These radios are used, and in good to fair condition.  The radio you receive will be dirty, have scuff marks, scratches and other markings.  The images for this radio are fairly representative of the condition that these radios will be in.  Some radios will show more wear than pictured.

The radio will be in working order when shipped.  The radio will have been powered on, programmed with the North American APRS frequency, and tested for TX and RX with a Mobilinkd TNC3.

This is a bare radio.  It has no power cable, microphone or mounting hardware.  This radio is being sold for amateur radio use.  The radio you receive may be configured for ignition sense.  And it may be configured for either microphone or data input on the DB-25 accessory connector.

This radio is being made available for those that have read the article we published on the Kenwood TK-790 and wish to purchase a radio at a reasonable price from a reputable source.
